Cane Bay comprises over 4500 acres of land located in South Carolina's Berkeley County. You're only minutes away from everything the Lowcountry has to offer with easy access to Highways 176, 52 and 78, and I-26. It's only 10 minutes to Main Street in Summerville and a 30-minute drive to downtown Charleston and area beaches.
Want access to anywhere else in the world? Cane Bay has easy access to three airports: Summerville Airport, Berkeley County Airport, and Charleston International Airport.
There are also top-notch medical facilities located nearby for your convenience. Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, Moncks Corner Medical Plaza, Roper Hospital, and Summerville Medical Center are just minutes away.
Golf enthusiasts will have plenty of choices to practice their swing in the area. There’s The Club at Pine Forest, Berkeley Country Club, and the Summerville Country Club.
Schools
Cane Bay has three of the highest-ranked schools in Berkeley County. These schools are for pre-k through 12th grade and are right in the community.
Cane Bay Elementary
Cane Bay Elementary School, which offers pre-k through fourth grade, opened in 2009 and earned the Palmetto Gold Award for General Performance within 10 years of opening its doors. In addition to using the money from the Arts in Basic Curriculum Advancement Grant to make sure the arts are included in the daily lesson plan, kids at the school participate in programs like Boosterthon, Cardio Cubs, Jump Rope for Heart, and Good News Club.
Cane Bay Middle School
Beginning in the fall of 2012, the Cane Bay Middle School began serving students from fifth through eighth grade. The school offers many courses like STEAM, engineering, and robotics, plus credit-bearing courses and gifted programs.
Cane Bay High School
Cane Bay High School, opened in 2008, has a wide variety of CTE and AP programs compared to other tri-county area schools. The high school serves students in grades 9 through 12.
The high school offers extended skills training, including business, marketing, banking, law enforcement, health sciences, biomedical and intermediate manufacturing from Volvo, in partnership with local businesses.
Berkeley Preparatory Academy
The newest addition to Cane Bay's educational offerings is their preparatory school. This tuition-free public charter school currently serves K-6th grades but will grow to include grades 7 and 8 by the 2023-24 school year. The unique operation of this school focuses on collaboration and future-ready skills. In each grade, there are groups called "Communities".

Lakes of Cane Bay
If you love spending time outdoors, the 300-acre lake in this neighborhood is sure to be a hit. With multiple access points, you can enjoy everything from fishing and kayaking to sailing and paddle boarding. Fishing, kayaking, sailing, motor boats, paddle boarding - you name it.
Walking and biking paths offer miles of additional relaxing activities as well.
Pine Crest
This neighborhood, located a few minutes from Summerville’s downtown, is a great place to live. The area features charm, natural beauty, walking trails, picnic areas, a pool, and a pool pavilion.

Sanctuary Cove

Woodwinds

Lindera Preserve
This quiet and comfortable community from Lennar features stylish single-family homes and is the top-selling community within Cane Bay. Lindera offers 530 homes in a family-friendly development. Each home has access to a pond, pool, playground, trails, dog park, and other amenities.
Palmetto Walk
This smaller community features only 74 homes starting at 1667 square feet with wooded and pond lots. You can easily walk to The Market, Publix, and nearby restaurants, all conveniently located near the entrance to Cane Bay.
The Hammocks

Lochton

Del Webb at Cane Bay is a gated community of 360 acres designed for residents aged 55+ who are looking to stay active.
